    Are you using v10?

    This is what a voicemail email looks like:

    Subject: New Voicemail from 7167140000 - AMERICANTECH

    You have received a new voicemail from 7167148014 - AMERICANTECH

    From Caller ID 7167140000
    To Voicemail box 200 - Kerry Garrison
    Received 5/11/2011 10:55:46 AM
    Duration 00:00:12
    File vmail_7167140000_200_20110511175546

    ".......\3CX\Data\Http\Templates\VMNTemplate.xml"
    there is "inline" documentation.
    By default, "display name" of the "from" header is specified by "CALLER" variable.
    You may change this file to fill this header from the other source

    Make more tests because this should work as it is. This is how we ship it.

    We already put CALLER NUMBER and CALLER NAME

    You can see in the subject of the template that stepan pointed out. If you go here
    Management console,settings, provisioning templates, Voicemail dropdown, VMNtemplate

    <subject>
    New Voicemail from %%CALLER%% - %%CALLERNAME%%
    </subject>

    When you have problems like this you should at least paste an example email like kerry did. From my point of view since I do not see an example, I will assume that you do not have a CALLER NAME at all.

    Kerry sees the Caller number AND the caller name

    Hi Nick,

    Kerry G. was talking about 'subject' and I was talking about 'SenderName'. Anyway, I found that the .XML file comes by default - using:

    Code:
    <from_display_name>
            %%CALLER%%
        </from_display_name>

    Now I changed the template file for:

    Code:
      <from_display_name>
            %%CALLERNAME%% (%%CALLER%%)
        </from_display_name>
      <subject>
            CompanyXYZ - New Voicemail from %%CALLERNAME%% (%%CALLER%%)
        </subject>
      <body>
    You have received a new voicemail from %%CALLERNAME%% (%%CALLER%%)

    tks for quick help!!!
