Hi guys,

We have recently installed 3cx v11 for a customer and are having some issues, mostly with the 3CXPhone softphone.
Hardphone handsets are able to dial mobiles without issue, however no softphone can dial a mobile number - but can dial land lines without issue. We are also unable to transfer calls between extensions - the call doesn't hang up, it just goes into the ether, not appearing on any extension.
We've replicated the install and replaced the router and the issue is persisting.
Ports forwarded are 5060,5090 and 9000-9049, and have tried with a completely different SIP account just to be doubly sure.

More interesting is that if we use the iPhone/Andriod app over the wifi, we can dial out mobiles/landlines without issue also.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Assuming that calls to both landlines and mobiles are going out over the same trunks, then, in theory, if one works, so should the other. Check the 3CX logs to see if the calls, in all cases are routing out to your provider (you don't say if you are using a VoIP provider or a gateway). If they are, then there may be a signalling issue from your VoIP provider when calling to different destinations.

You might have to employ Wireshark to see what , if any , differences, for each type of call, are being encountered.
