Solved V14 Company Phonebook Duplicate Entries on Yealink Phones

    We have an issue on one of our site where the 3CX Company Phonebook on the Yealink phones shows a duplicate entry for every user.
    Looking at the provisioning phonebook.xml file it contains 2 entries for each user, the first with the correct ext. no. and a second with a blank entry.
    We have tried deleting the .xml file, deleting the Company Phonebook on the web interface then re-entering the details on the Company Phonebook which generates a new .xml file but it still contains duplicate entries?

    Anyone, otherwise its the thankless task of ploughing through the .xml file deleting the duplicate entries!

    This is now resolved.
    I hadn't realised that the system automatically populates the 3CXphonebook.xml from the Extension data and details entered in the Company Phonebook are in addition to those entries. The customer had duplicated all the existing entries that were already in the Extension data.
    Checking our other sites I realised that there was no data in the Company Phonebooks yet the 3CX Phonebook.xml file had the correct entries in.
    Deleting all the data from the Company Phonebook cleared the duplicate entries and the customer can now populate the Company Phonebook with the mobile numbers if he requires it.
