V14 - Service Packs

    We are having some trouble upgrading our 3CX V14 version 14.0.44241.523 to SP1.

    Withing Updates -> 3CX Service Packs/Updates we have 3 Updates available, with status "Out of Date"

    When downloaded is selected, we get the "3CX needs to be stopped..." which then logs out of management console and immediately presents the login screen.

    The update will not install, no matter how many times this is repeated.

    Does this mean we must first uninstall 3CX and install the Service Packs manually?

    Hello there,

    Please try and install service packs one by one and sequentially starting of course with service pack 1.

    Logging you out of the management console and taking you to the login screen is normal.
    You should not attempt to log back in until the page is refreshed and the version number on the bottom right corner of the login
    screen is changed.

    Repeat with all service packs until your system is up to date.

    Please note that it is advisable to backup your system before proceeding to a service pack update just to be on the safe side.

    Turns out it was the anti virus. After the update downloaded, the anti virus would delete part of it, claiming it was a "trojen"

    Posting this in case anyone else is having trouble with this!
