V15 API phone status

    I'm working with the 3CX Integration Template and I'm wondering how i can get the telphone status (active,away, in a call, etc)
    Can I just run a database query on the 3cx database in the (with acces from the http api to the 3cx database) ?
    Or are there other (beter) ways to do this ?

    And if this is the correct way in witch table can a find the current status for the current user...
