    Hello,

    We have two requirements:

    1) Connect an inbound call to a newly created outbound(external) call
    2) Connect an inbound call to an conference with others in a conference room without having to press in a conference id

We have experience with the 3CX API and also VAD. Any guidance on how to accomplish these two requirements would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks :)

    Hi @obsidian,

    Let me answer your questions:
    1) Unfortunately it's not possible to bind 2 established calls using the APIs available. We can only transfer an established call to a new destination, but not bind 2 calls. So for example, when you receive the inbound call, you can transfer it to an external number, and you will have your inbound call established against an external destination. But we can't connect 2 calls which are already established.

    2) You can transfer the call to the conference extension (for example 700), but then the user will need to enter the ID and eventually the PIN via DTMF. What you can do is connecting the inbound call to a Call Flow Designer app, which can play the conference ID and PIN to the user, and then transfer the user to the conference extension, so they can enter ID/PIN via DTMF once they know the numbers...

    Kind regards.
