Hi Folks, Does somebody know anything about subj?
You know currently a lot of SIP SP supports Video over SIP.
Is there possibility to send video over 3CX? It means when 3CX delivers audio between networks. And Is it possible to send video over 3CX as well.
    Thanks.

Could you please list the SIP SPs who really support it?

    Thanks

Hi, I am from Russia. Main SP Sipnet.ru and Telphin.ru supports video.
I believe at nearest time all global SIP SP will support video as well. At least inside their SIP net.

Thanks for answer. But there are some more questions.
Real example: We have internal net where our phones are located. We have 3CX inside our internal net.
Next we have SP account which supports video. 3CX delivers audio. It means Audio goes to internal phones from SP over 3CX server. We have SIP softphone which supports Video and it is connected to 3CX. 3CX connected to SP which supports Video as well.
If we register our SIP softphone to SP directly then we can get video calls successfully. If we connect it to 3CX and 3CX connects to SP then we can't get video calls. I would like to underline: 3CX delivers audio to internal net.

So question: Does 3CX support Video? If not then Are there plans to support Video in future? If yes then which version?

    Cheers,

For info. Logs after 3CX. It means Video call was terminated to 3CX and went over it. We can see options: 3cxPS Audio call
Of course it is old 3CX version but if version 8 doesn't support video as well then there are not reasons for upgrade.

PBX supports all call scenarious with video. Put call on hold, transfer call, attended transfer of call, etc. You can call ring group or queue and it will continue to work with video. Limitation is that both participants should support video and both of them should be configured as "supports reinvites"=on "pbx delivers audio"=off.
So, If your provider also supports all of this things then configure your SIP trunk as "supports reinvites"=on "pbx delivers audio"=off and ask your SIP SP to deliver video to your local phones reliably (SIP SP supports video calls, isn't it? ;) )

What kind of video support you are expecting from PBX?

    Thanks

Really thinks for your answers. I got needed info.
About expectation:I expect something like: Version 3CX bla-bla-bla will support delivering of video. :)
It could be the best answer. But current answer is enough as well. I will try. Thanks.

The "crutches" are available for audio media only. Video, FAX etc. is up to "devices/providers".
If "crutches" are applied to one of the call participants then only audio media is available.
PBX allows to negotiate any media between call participants.
