We have over the weekend split off our voice traffic from our main VLAN. We have a couple of issues now though I would appreciate any peer input on.
Firstly, the dropdown in 3CX management > extension > phone provisioning will also set the address for 3CXPhone to connect to so when we set that dropdown the the interface on our voice VLAN, it also sets the 3CXphone to that interface IP address, so 3CXphone no longer works because it is trying to connect to an IP address on the Voice VLAN. Is there a template we can change to always write a 3CXPhone configuration to set the "Local LAN" address? It seems very strange that the IP address is taken from the phone and we don't know what will happen if there is more than one phone on the extension?
We have avoided InterVLAN routing so far as we want to keep the network configuration as simple as possible.
Thanks for any insights,
Millsey
