Voice Mail Box from a Digital Recepcionist

    Hello,

    I'd like route to a voice mail when a Digital Recepcionist timeouts...
    But I don't know how to do this...

    I tried transfering to an extension that allways redirect to a voice mail... but the systems plays the "Please hold while transfer your call" message and It's a little annoying...

    Any Idea??

    you could try simply changing the system prompt for transferring a call to a blank .wav file. By blank i mean a 1 second blank .wav file or something. This isn't a fix by any means, but it is a work around.

    this is the way i did it, i made a extension that would reject all calls and forward them to a voice mail box. then in the digital assistant area i had it forward to the extension i made earlier, when it times out.

    now to check the messages, you use extension 999, or what ever you changed it to. and follow the directions from the prompts

    if you need help you can call my pbx at 515-335-1150.

    use the option 1, and ill either call you back or answer if im there.
