I have users that when they come in they see they have voicemails. when they listen to them the voicemail is a recording of the digital receptionist recording that people hear when they call our office. any reason why this recording would end up in someone's voicemail box?

    thank you,

    Buddy

How often has this happened? Can you replicate the problem?

Are these all from outside callers? Calls from the same source/trunk?

Is the same extension involved, or a number of different ones?

How do calls get to the extensions, through s digital receptionist?

Have callers told you that they tried to leave a message but were unable to do so?

Have you looked over the 3CX server logs to see how the call passed through the PBX?

If i had to guess, i would say that it sounds as if a call is transferred from the DR to a mailbox and the caller is hanging up at the same time. For some reason the DR message is passed to VM.
