Webclient Recordings - All Recordings

    The ability to access recordings in the webclient has limited our need to give some users console access and has been great. However, it is limited to that Ext. Recordings.

    We need the ability to grant some users "All Recordings" rights.

    Giving a web client access to all recordings is not an option native to 3CX. But you can have more granular control with our 3CX VoIPTools Manager. With this tool you create 3CX extension groups, assign members to the group, and managers of the group. Members can only see their own recordings, but managers can see recordings from anyone in the group they manage.

    You don't really want to give people rights to "all" recordings because that could include the CEO as well as Human Resources. That would be bad. Further, giving people rights to access their recordings via the web client also means they can delete the recordings doesn't it? That would be bad too if your agent just cussed out a customer and he doesn't want the recording available for review.
