    Does anyone know the location of the welcome email sent from the management console. i would like to change the subject in the email. Along with adding a provisioning URL for external extensions.

    Re: Welcome email

    Hi,

    The mail template is in C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Http\Templates\MailTemplate.txt (w2008) or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\3CX\Data\Http\Templates\MailTemplate.txt (w2003).

    ...but can't find where to change the subject email. maybe hardcoded !?

    Re: Welcome email

    Hi,
    Yes at the moment the subject is hard coded, but we will provide this feature with the next update.
    So basically you can change the subject for sending of Welcome Emails ONLY by editing the language files Manually.
    Thanks and Regards

    Re: Welcome email

    Hi with Service Pack2, you can now change you Subject when sending a welcome email by just going to the language file -
    C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Http\includes

    Select which language file you are using and copy this string - extmailSubj=

    Below is a following example of how it should be done.

    #gen settings for all controls
    extmailSubj= Subject Text
    yes = YES
    no = NO
    okbtn = OK
    cncbtn = Cancel
    appbtn = Apply
    playbtn = Play
    bwbtn = Browse...
    finishbtn = Finish

    Save and Close- and Reopen Management or Winforms and send your edited welcome email.
    Also we are planning to add this feature in the management console.
    Thanks and Regards
