Yealink T28P No Message Light

    I have a Yealink T28P which has the latest firmware and latest 3CX Version. After the phone was provisioned, I tried to see if the message light will illuminate after leaving a message for the ext configured on the phone. The light doesn't turn on and the screen doesn't show any messages either.

    Does anyone else have this issue and/or possible way to fix it?

    Are you using the "free" 3CX version? If so then MWI will not work. You would need to apply the Demo code which then limits you to two concurrent calls, not four.

    Leejor is right, MWI is disabled in the free version.

    If you do have a licensed version, are the phones local or remote?

    That was it - had to put in a key for it to work.
