Yealink T46S Ringtone won't change

    Hi all,

    This should be a simple one to solve but I cannot get it to work for some reason...

    I want to change the default ringtone on my Yealink T46S from the Ring 1 tone.

    I've tried changing it in the physical handset itself by going to Menu-Basic-Sound-Ring Tones- and selecting Ring 8 and saving config, with no luck.

    I've logged into 3CX admin console and changed the 'configure default ringtone' under extension settings to Ring 8, but it still rings as Ring 1.

    In both cases, I'm just calling into my DID from my mobile.

    I have updated the firmware on T46s to just in case.

    Running 3CX Pro 15.5.5

    What am I missing? Thanks all.

    Please note that the option for changing the ringtone under extension settings changes the default ringtone of the phone. If the call comes from an external source then the distinctive ringtone for external calls will be played that does not change through the management console options. To test and make sure that ringtones are changing make a local call (extension to extension) and see if the change is applied correctly
