Yealink T48 & BLF status

    Yes, this is the expected response.

    This is an IP based phone system and unlike a traditional analog system, when the receiver is lifted there is no "line seizure". The dial tone you hear is actually generated by the phone as a function of being registered to the system and because this is what callers expect to hear. When you input the dial string and press send/dial/# or wait, does the phone actually do something that involves interaction with the PBX which is then when the button status will change.

    Hi there i have noticed the same behavior on numerous 3cx systems. Inbound call transferred to ext 201 will flash blf till answered then blf will turn to solid red. However when ext 201 dials an external call there is no change to the blf until the call is answered
    on the called end. I belive the blf should flash while the called number is ringing before changing to solid red when the call is connected.
