Factory Reset your Panasonic phone

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Panasonic device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your Panasonic phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.

Factory Reset your Panasonic phone

  1. Register the Handset and get the ip address of the base:
  • Register Handset to base
  1. Start base
    [LED flash
    es ORANGE]
  2. Handset [MENU] (center of joystick) [#][1][3][0]
  3. Base press the connect button (right side) for 4 seconds
    [Bases flashes in RED]
  4. Handset press [OK] (center of joystick)
  5. Enter [0][0][0][0][OK] (center of joystick)
  1. Enable Embedded Web Server of the Base:
  • Handset [MENU] (center of joystick) [#][5][3][4]
  • Select (On) ->  [OK] (center of joystick)
  1. Get the IP address of KX-TGP500:
  • Handset [MENU] (center of joystick) [#][5][0][1]
  • Read the the IP address displayed on LCD
  1.  Access the Web user interface:
  • Open your Web browser.
  • Enter IP address from step 3 into the Web browser.
  • Enter Authentication ID and password and click “OK.”
  1. “User Name” = “customerserviceid,”
  2. “Password”= “cspass;”
  1. Press “Maintenance” > “Reset to Defaults” > “Reset to Factory Defaults” and then “OK” to reset your base station to factory defaults.
