  1. Public IP

    Anything outside your local LAN would be considered an external extension and would need to be setup as such. Having a public IP doesn't change that. you are still trying to connect from an IP that is not local.

    Just out of curiousity, why haven't you upgraded to version 10? It will make your life much easier. :)
