IVR Extension announcement - how to remove it?

When a caller selects an option in the Digital Receptionist (IVR), 3CX announces the extension number before transferring the call. Is there a way to disable this extension announcement so the transfer happens silently/immediately?

How is your IVR set up? I've never seen this. Like, ever.

It really sounds like some kind of FreePBX-style feature. The solution to disable it: migrate to 3CX !
Ok ok, unless you’re using a 3CX Call Script / Call Flow, this isn’t a native 3CX feature. Confirm whether the call is actually reaching 3CX and check the inbound routing for your DID.
