  1. Yealink BLF when presence DND

I think before I open a feature request in Ideas, I'll run a wireshark trace. My guess is that 3cx is not sending any kind of notification to the subscribers when a handset goes to DND - rather than it being the case that 3cx is sending a notify message but the phone is ignoring it because it...
  2. Yealink BLF when presence DND

… which is why I said as it would be OPTIONAL not a change to existing installations
  3. Yealink BLF when presence DND

The fact that 'phones don't indicate based on a DND notification is a 'phone problem. The fact that 3cx doesn't attempt to notify any subscribers of the status is a 3cx issue - we should have the choice to notify subscribers with a "busy" when an extension goes DND
  4. Yealink BLF when presence DND

Wow thanks for your "more technical" response "phonemaster". Of course, Asterisk users must be hopelessly confused - you know, since all their customers BLFs *DO* show busy when a handset has gone DND. Perhaps rather than assuming it would be better if 3cx gave installers/customers the option...
  5. Yealink BLF when presence DND

"This is something affecting all phones"... I assume this means it's a 3cx "problem". It's not that "all phones" cannot update the BLF to indicate a DND (or even busy if necessary) status, it's that 3cx doesn't notify all subscribers that an extension state has changed to DND. :(
  6. Blf or message to see system or extension status

+1 I can't believe that "supported" IP phones don't show via BLF the availability of other extensions... just saying "use the web/windows client" isn't a solution
  7. Chat window style/font & size

+1 I have set my monitor to 125% text size and it's still tiny.... mind you, way better than the iPhone for which I need a microscope
  8. Yealink BLF when presence DND

If this is a "limitation coming from the phones", does this problem only affect the Yealink devices? Do *any* approved IP phones correctly reflect the available/do-not-disturb presence status of other phones via BLF?
  9. Yealink BLF when presence DND

Good morning, I have purchased two Yealink T48 handsets as part of a test/prototype demo of 3cx - and the results have been mixed. One the plus side, if you select DND on the Yealink, the presence on all 3cx soft devices changes to DND - way better than I expected. If you select DND/available...
  10. BLF pickup fails

I'm totally lost. On the windows client of 10 in presence I can see both groups A and B. I can see extension 10 in A (itself) and 20 in group B. When a call comes in to 20, I see the presence indicator for B flashing. I right-click it and am not offered the "pickup" option?
  11. BLF pickup fails

Yiannish, I'll retest tonight. However, both the presence and BLF indicators are flashing red indicating an incoming call but I seem to be unable to pickup the call regardless of the "call pickup" setting in the group. Or... wait.... If extension 10 is in group A and extension 20 is in group...
  12. Support of Phonebook for Gigaset N510/N720

I just had a quick look - have you considered installing openldap on your 3cx Debian and using slapadd etc to import contacts into it? I know it seems like overkill but it's always nice to give extra functionality to handset users :)
  13. Support of Phonebook for Gigaset N510/N720

We use our existing AD infrastructure to provide LDAP functionality to the Gigasets…
  14. Support of Phonebook for Gigaset N510/N720

My apologies - I had no idea that limitation existed! Well, as an alternative, have you considered exporting the 3cx phonebook and converting it to an an LDIF which you could import into an LDAP server creating a "phone contacts" OU for the Gigasets to use?
  15. Support of Phonebook for Gigaset N510/N720

If you configure LDAP as the data source for the 3cx phonebook (with PRO) you can configure the N510/N720 to the same LDAP source..?
  16. More granular options for call queues

Well, if someone implemented (2) then (1) wouldn't be necessary - if a declined call followed the wrap-up time I could set wrap-up to 30 seconds and would be a happy man :) other than wrap-up time being a PRO function of course..
  17. 15.5 Update 5 BETA gives more control to the admin

    CSTA instead of CTI :) :) :)
  18. More granular options for call queues

I would suggest that the call queue feature is a little too rigid and would like to see a couple of changes:- 1) An adjustable timeout to determine how often the queue polls for new agents which have become available (this is closely-related to 2 below) 2) Allow an agent to decline a call from...
  19. Ring groups to act on SIP_FORKED_ID_BUSY parameter

Currently, if an extension has multiple devices registered and is being called via a ring group, the call must be declined by every registered device to send busy here back. This behaviour should be modified by the SIP_FORKED_ID_BUSY parameter but it does not work. Currently with...
  20. Solved iOS client/bluetooth

Vali, my friend... thank you :) I first had the "robotic" Bluetooth issue last night (I hadn't tried it before) and head my head in my hands weeping... just knew what users would say if we implement 3cx and this happens. I'm not on the beta program so will have to wait for RTM but still good...
