  1. SP 6 update not available

I had a similar issue - try the steps given to me in the following thread: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/backup-and-restore.59317/ You might have to alter the line depending in your Debian version.
  2. SBC BLF limit

    Many thanks for clarifying Yiannis.
  3. SBC BLF limit

I'm about to implement a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ SBC and I've just noticed that it says a maximum of 20 phones and 10 BLF's per device. We have 4 x Fanvil X6's that have 24 BLF buttons, of which we would only be using 6 as BLF fields as the rest would be custom speed dials. I'm assuming when it says...
  4. Solved Fanvil X5s and X6 - time error (1 hour before the right time since this weekend !!!)

I've had a similar issue with two of our X6's this morning, I just updated the time via their setup pages as I assumed it was the usual time server issues. Interestingly, they were the last two to be re-provisioned with the "latest" template last week, the other two phones were last provisioned...
  5. Raspberry Pi SBC resilience

Thank you for sharing that setup, I wasn't aware of the Pi Desktop case!
  6. Raspberry Pi SBC resilience

Thank you. I was thinking of using a Samsung Evo or Pro card, in your opinion would that be a good choice?
  7. Solved Problems with Audio

Have you double checked the firewall setup at the server end with the firewall checker? Also, just noticed that you have set up more than the required 12 RTP ports for the Yealinks This weekend I’ve got to reload our 3CX on our cloud server as we can’t update to Debian 9 directly (host issue)...
  8. Solved Problems with Audio

How are you provisioning the phone? Via auto provisioning from 3CX or manually? And what phone is it?
  9. Solved Problems with Audio

Just to check then, you change the port to be 5065 in the open ports of the router, you reboot it and the phone won’t register?
  10. Solved Problems with Audio

Set the phone in 3CX to be 5065, set the open port to suit, and reprove son the phone so it’s using 5065
  11. Solved Problems with Audio

I’ve just remotely logged into our router and looked at our setup - for the RTP ports change it to UDP, leave the 5065 as TCP/UDP. Make sure that you’ve set the same range of RTP ports in the rule as you have for the extension in the PBX. Also, you will have to set up an Open Port rule for...
  12. Solved Problems with Audio

I’m using the 2860 and just disabled ALG and used Open Ports. From previous experience with Drayteks I would factory reset the router and start afresh, especially as you’ve been “messing around” with the forwarding etc. As asked above, are you using the Draytek for DHCP? I’ve disabled the DHCP...
  13. Raspberry Pi SBC resilience

Thanks Ari, I'll take a look.
  14. Solved Problems with Audio

You will need to forward each phones incoming SIP and RTP ports to it's IP address on the local LAN as the firewall will need to know where to send the data - static IPs for the phones will be required for this work. I've been running a similar setup with reasonable success for the past 9...
  15. Raspberry Pi SBC resilience

Thank you Marari. if it was an extended outage and the UPS died, would the SBC restart automatically when the power came back up? And is there any danger of corruption from an in-proper shutdown (as it's an SD card)?
  16. Raspberry Pi SBC resilience

I'm thinking of implementing a Raspberry Pi SBC to connect to our cloud based 3CX but I'm just wondering how they react to things like a power cut? Do they just start automatically once power is restored? Will they automatically reconnect to the remote 3CX if the router is slower at restarting...
  17. Solved Backup and Restore

I had some free time last night so had a look at what you suggested - the 3cxpbx.list file was nothing like you said. I altered it as per your text above and ran the updates etc, and we're now at 15.5.13103.5 plus I've managed to get the phone firmwares updated too, so I feel much happier...
  18. Solved Backup and Restore

Thanks. I'll have to try that over the weekend of the 29th as I'm on leave from Friday and running out of time to do things at the moment lol!
  19. Solved Backup and Restore

We are currently running on a cloud server with 1and1 and, unfortunately, it turns out that I will have to delete the instance and setup again with Debian 9 as 1and1 have disabled the option to upgrade the distribution directly... For some reason, as mentioned in posts before, we seem to have...
  20. Next release

Just discovered that we are on Debian 8 so that needs to be updated, and I've also discovered that we've lost the root password so it looks like I'll have to rebuild the PBX in a new instance anyway over the weekend...
