    The fix was to download the Gmail android app and click on the config file from there. Logging into the Gmail website only downloaded the file and did not install it. Thanks, Ed

    I tried downloading the file but when clicked it doesn't run. It just opens the code in a text file?.

    I have the android app installed on my HP Chromebook. Unfortunately, I'm not able to scan the printed QR code to configure it. The QR code works for other apps that use the webcam though so it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue. Also, the app was just updated on the beta tester version...
