  1. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

Many thanks for that Leejor .. that works nicely even on our v16 setup :-)
  2. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

Yes .. just the one extension which is permanently forwarding to an outside number to produce a fixed caller ID .. all other extensions to present originator caller ID.
  3. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

The problem is the other way around .. we already have originator caller ID implemented .. but for this one extension we want the one same number to always present regardless of where the call originates.
  4. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

A related question .. is it possible to present the Extension's caller-ID with this forwarding instead of the original caller ID?
  5. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

Awesome .. many thanks Vasilis .. that works a treat :-) It seems like the exception rules override the general rules for Available and DND above? Otherwise it is unclear what settings to put for Internal Calls forward when DND etc etc ..
  6. Solved Internal Extension for External Calls

We need an internal extension to always forward to an external number during business hours. But after hours we want the extension to forward to a different external number. There is no phone registered on the extension. Is this forwarding possible?
  7. Solved Some International calls prompt for PIN

Update .. yes this was a setting with our Trunk provider where a box was ticked to "block expensive overseas calls" .. many thanks for sending me in the right direction @leejor.
  8. Solved Some International calls prompt for PIN

Thank you and yes I agree this is most likely a problem with our Trunk provider. Will enquire with them and advise back soon.
  9. Solved Some International calls prompt for PIN

Call attempts to Jordan (country code 962) get a please enter your password prompt .. .. even though we have ENABLED calls to Jordan under Security-AllowedCountryCodes AND we have NOT enabled Pin Protect under Extension-Options Other countries can be dialed without problem.
  10. Solved Extension falsely behaves as DND - all calls divert to voicemail - but it is set to Available

Thank you Charles .. that is probably exactly the case .. didn't notice the white line before re-creating the extension, but a week ago I was testing the *61 *60 feature which to me didn't seem to work so I possibly left it in the *61 state. Is there any other access to toggle or to view this...
  11. Solved Extension falsely behaves as DND - all calls divert to voicemail - but it is set to Available

Fanvil X210 phone with firmware 2.2.13, sited remotely, connecting to our local (not cloud) 3CX PBX running version 16 on Debian Linux - 3CX app running iOS. We did resolve this issue today, by deleting and re-creating the extension, and freshly configuring the desk phone - everything works...
  12. Fanvil X210 BLF keys 1-10 not working

We have a Fanvil X210 phone with firmware 2.2.13, connecting to local 3CX PBX running version 16 on Debian Linux. The first 10 BLF keys configured for the Extension in the 3CX appear on the phone in a main display section, and all work ok...
  13. Solved Restore not working - are there Restore logs and Backup logs

The problem we have is that our backup server is on the same network, and if the SIP services are running on it, the Trunk registers and this seems to interfere with the active PBX after about 6 hours, and both inbound and outbound calls start failing on the main PBX. So it looks like I have to...
  14. Solved Restore not working - are there Restore logs and Backup logs

By inspection of RestoreCmd.log the Restore did not run at all .. ie it did not start. The "Enable Failover" is not selected, so the 3CX is neither Active or Passive? A schedule restore does not run as reported, and also a manual restore will not run - unless the W10 o/s is restarted. For...
  15. Port number for STUN-remote phone

I presume you mean that the firewall port rules "opened on the Firewall that sits between the IP Phone and the internet" are only needed for outgoing traffic? ie Just confirming that no pinholes are required for incoming traffic on that router for those ports?
  16. Solved Restore not working - are there Restore logs and Backup logs

With the option ticked: Restore-Schedule "Do not start services after restore", then my Restore does not work after running once .. either the 3CX services need starting or the W10 PC needs re-starting to get another Restore to run. Is this behaviour by design, or is there one service I can...
  17. Port number for STUN-remote phone

In the example above, would the router for the 3CX firewall need to have Incoming open ports for UDP: (14000 - 14047), and TCP (5065 - 5068)?
  18. Port number for STUN-remote phone

On further inspection the Fanvil X3U has been provisioned with Local port 5065 ... Line - SIP - SIP Global Settings >> Local SIP Port: 5065 Thanks.
  19. Port number for STUN-remote phone

When I provision a new Fanvil X3U phone for STUN-remote the Local SIP port of phone in the Provisioning tab of the extension shows as 5065. However, on logging into the phone itself, the port setting in the Line-SIP page shows as 5060, but it also shows as registered. Given the above anomaly...
