    Soved !! After a bit o trial and error, I got it to work,,, I tried it of VMWare Player on Windows first and it worked fine. Then I came back to M1 Mac and tied it (I'm using UTM) NOT on supported list on VM platforms I know, but "system' was the key... I had to reduce system to low-2009 one...

    your right, i was doing something wrong..solved... The problem was i needed to have two gateways. Both NICs, (one of them with static route), cannot go out primary gateway as well.

    Running 3CX (Debian), helping out someone adding static route.. However i've added add route to /etc/networtk/iterfaces under Debian 10, but also, for various unknown reasons i'm not sure understanding yet, you must also add route manually as well to command line.... Not sure the reason this...

    Fixed.. :) All I had to do in Sophos was allow exceptions : 3cx.com, activation.3cx.com and http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key After I added and installed Debian 3CX I Host only, I got PBX web. This stuff is easy. After others on Hyper-V.

    no Secure boot.. Legacy I only have one vNic on 3CX "Host only" pointing to Sophos as Gateway & DNS.. but Sophos itself it not acting as DNS, as it points to router 192.168.1.1

    Downloaded new ISO, and installed in VM.. Works fine, but only in "Bridged" Still goes to command line in Host Only, (though Sophos.).. Would i need to have Sophos acting as DNS ?? as currently Sophos only points to router 192.168.1.1 for DNS access. Ya, i could just stay with "Bridged"...

  18. Appliance working but can't get ports to pass

    When running ports on appliance, all ports pass expect ALG, ports 5060 and 5061... the box is going through Sophos and ALG is disabled on it.. Must I also open ports on router as well?? as technically firewall connection test originated from inside LAN going OUT, not coming in
