Does anyone have experience with the 2N access control systems? According to 2N, they are fully compatible with 3CX, but they aren't listed on the 3CX site as a compatible vendor.

I'm interested in the 2N system (2N IP Verso or 2N IP Base) because they have the ability to use cell phones instead of cards or fobs or entry access.

If 3CX does not list the product as being "officially" supported, but the manufacturers site says it's compatible, then you might want to contact them, for any support they might offer.

Being compatible probably means it is a "standard SIP device", and standard SIP devices, will, for the most part, work with 3CX. However, you are going to have to manually configure it, if 3CX does not have a template available, which may not be all that bad, for a one-off.

Again, I would check to see if 2N has actually done any testing with 3CX. They may surprise you and have a provisioning guide available.

Yes, they do have full provisioning guides for all of their products and systems, including instructions for how to configure different versions of 3CX for each device in addition to how to configure their device for that version of 3CX. And, according to their documentation, they have tested each device with various versions and indicate whether or not they are compatible audio or compatible video as well as several other scenarios. It's very detailed and very well done. They call them interoperability guides.

Here's an example: https://wiki.2n.cz/hip/inte/latest/en/1-pbx/3cx-phone-system

We have used them, you have to manually configure the sip account to get them to connect to 3cx - very easy to do

Have configured them for local lan and sbc config
