3CX android app on Chromebook/Chromebox

The Android app works great on my Google Pixelbook. Anticipating the same success, I went to install the 3cx android app on my Asus Chromebox 3-N019U(capable of running android apps) and the Play store says that the device isn't compatible with this version. What am I missing?
Why would it work fine on a Chromebook running the Android app and not on a Chromebox?
Both devices are running the latest Beta channel ChromeOS and I've also tried running the Dev channel on the Chromebox...but no luck.

I'm not sure, didn't have a chance to continue testing, but in the past i've noticed the app working on one chromebook and not on the other, both capable of supporting android apps, the only difference was that the one it worked on had touch(dell 5190) and the other one didn't (dell 3380).

Perhaps its the touch functionality that is missing on the chromebox. but like i've said, its a wild guess.
