3CX Backups

We were thinking about updating 3CX to a new version.

Before we did that we needed to know that if we do will we be able to use the old backups to go back to the previous version or will we be stuck in the new version even if we have the backups from before?

There are no infos to answer your question. If you upgrade from v18 to v20 there is no way back...

What if we are on v20 but we are going from v20 update 3 to v20 update 5?

Would we be able to revert back to update 3 with the backup?

There is no way to install v20 U3 again... So no.
