3CX Meet - Transcription Capabilities?

Hello,

I hope you're well.

We have a new customer who is making full use of 3CX's transcriptions via the Google Speech-to-Text API Integration on voicemails and archived recordings.

The customer has queried whether it is possible to experience this transcription within 3CX Meet (to automatically generate minutes from a staff meeting, for example).

Has anyone had any experience with this previously and know if this is possible?

Hi,

We're considering adding basic transcription functionality although this is still undecided. Meeting minutes, video recording subtitles via transcripted audio as well as a transcript report, meeting minutes(summary) and video recording chapters are things we are considering but also undecided on.

For the moment none of the above are possible.

Hi, technically it is possible to write an integration service using WebMeeting API to get the mp4 URL of recorded meetings, download the video, extract audio from video and upload the audio to some online audio to text service, then send an email to meeting organizer with the transcribed text.
This is not part of the platform but there are the instruments to implement it.
