We are currently planning to purchase Polycom VVX 250 & 450 phones to replace our aging Polycom phones from the early 2000's. Before we purchase, we would just like to make sure there aren't any plans to support newer Polycom phones like the Poly Edge B30.

Any information would be greatly appreciated from 3CX.

I'm in the same boat, only looking at Polycom phones and would also like to know if this is a possibility in the near future.

Any word from 3CX?

Well I would buy a preferred phone from Yealink, Snom or Fanvil. I think our website is pretty clear on that

Any plans to add the newer poly edge phones to support with 3cx? We really love 3cx, but I really cant stand yealink, snom or fanvil phones. They arent what our clients want and they arent something we want to resell.

If you really want these phones nothing stops you from registering them or even writing your own custom templates for them. As well, for CSTA support, this is a parameter in 3CX that you can edit.

Unsupported device warnings and all apply here. But really, if you are determined to do so, nothing stops you from using them as a device.
