I have an API through which I can download the recording but for that, I need the recording filename. I have the caller and receiver number and other details.

No workarounds. And if that's the script I am thinking of, you shouldn't use it. (The PHP script.)

There are a couple of challenges. If you know the extension number that recorded the call, and you know the file name of the recording, it is possible to get a web link to the recording. Thankfully, however, it requires authentication/authorization to access the file. You certainly would not want recordings accessible to the world. Currently there is no 3CX API for getting recordings.

We, however, offer a real-time events API that enables you to subscribe to new recording events. And we provide a REST API for downloading recordings. You may also consider looking at our 3CX Recording Manager tool. We can help!
