Solved 3CX Webmeeting problems on IOS 14

Installation: IOS 14.0 and 14.0.1
3CX App v. 10.6.10.6


Problems:

• Since 14: Clicking on invitation link in calendar opens Safari showing options to install the App.
  Before, the link was copied to 3CX Meeting App and meeting was started.
• Since IOS 14.0.1 redirect to browser shows "open 3cx app" but app does not get the link.
• Already before IOS 14: Screen presentations are sometimes visible, sometimes not.

Tried reinstalling the app etc. but no success.
3CX: Latest Version updated 23rd Sept. 2020.


Any Ideas?

A report had been filed to Apple iOS team reporting that wildcard app links do not appear to be working anymore. Apple today acknowledged the problem in iOS 14. There is no ETA provided to us when this could be fixed in iOS.

The same problem on IOS 14.1. 3CX Webmeeting 10.6.12.1. I Don't think this is an Apple problem, since the links look like https://wa.me/message/67SFKDDSZYPBA1 they open easily in the Whatsapp app.

if you have access to the just latest released iOS Developer version (14.2 Beta 4) you can see that the issue got resolved.
