Hello is it possible to run the 3CX client on the Android WiFi only device. I am trying but i get the : outgoing calls are not permitted by telecom message. And that is everything. Impossible initiate the call.
Thanks

Of course it is, you can use 3CX on an android phone with wifi only. To make external calls you need a SIP trunk configured on Startup, maybe this is the issue you have

OK, so how to configure the whole device to have this working?
I have just the 3CX Startup version. So should i add the 3CX values as my SIP account in the device settings?

And second question is on the same device with WAN+WLAN is working OK - even without any other SIP configuration. On both devices just the 3CX client with the QR activation done.

You need to configure a SIP trunk in 3CX Startup, not on your phone.

OK, and to make it more "easy" when i try to call just between the 3CX users inside of my account, then i have following situation :
1) WLAN to WAN device call - not possible because of the message
2) WAN - WLAN device call - WLAN is ringing but i cant start the call - because of the error message
So for me it looks like there is a difference.
So is there the SIP trunk needed even for calls just inside the 3CX group?
The messaging runs OK.

Have you tried disabling "Telecom API" in "Menu >> Settings >> Advanced" and then exited and re-launched the app?

If that should be on Device settings, then there is no such a setting. Can see just the Audio API.

What kind of phone is it? Which Android version?

Its Zebra TC21 and TC26 device. Android 11. 3CX v18 (latest from App store)

Just a question - is the SIP trunk needed just for "internal" calls? Means just for the calls in between the 3CX Startup users?

A SIP provider trunk would be required for "outside" calls. Internal only calls, with both ends using the App, would not require a trunk.

OK, so i have the same message also for internal calls. Saying : outgoing calls are not permitted by telecom

Check the 3CX Activity log, set to Verbose. It sounds as if your calls are attempting to route out to a provider when they should not. Perhaps an outbound rule configuration issue. Internals calls should not use the rules.

...on second thought, some of this may not be available in Start-up.

Hello, so my fault.
I just didn´t found the Telecom API
by default is : Car/Bluetooth support (Telecom API) ON
By switch to OFF the app is working fine.
The only strange thing is that on the other WiFI+WAN unit is with the same setting working fine.
But anyway, thanks for all the tips. Next time i should read more carefully the whole Setting description
