Hi all,

I don't use Gamma that often but recently I have been seeing the error:

Call or Registration to 0<Number>@(Ln.10001@Gamma (3CX SIP Port 5060 required)) has failed. <Gamma IP> replied: 486 Overloaded; from IP:<Gamma IP>:5060

SIP Server ID: 12294 16/08/2022 13:49:34

I know normally 486 is Busy Here and is because the line is busy, is the "Overloaded" a custom message from Gamma to say they're too busy to process our request? Normally if we run out of channels this is reported to us but apparently we're not showing as maxing out our channel count on this customer.

Thanks

Graham

Actually this is an inbound call to a DDI so this must be 3CX right? We have 16 Sim Calls on our server and one of the messages was at 18:00 which would seem odd to be maxing it out...

Hi,
Nope if you see <Gamma IP> replied: 486 Overloaded; from IP:<Gamma IP>:5060 then the error code came from Gamma server.
Furthermore I found an old reddit referring to the same error message from this provider, I think you should reach their support for more info.

Ah ok, I now have a massive increase of issues on my server so I'm not sure if this is caused by Gamma or by my server. One user is regularly getting the message "Offer not accepted" on his client? My log files are littered with these:

26/08/2022 12:04:38 - [CM503003]: Call(C:273): Call to <sip:221@<mydomain>:0> has failed; Cause: 487 Request Terminated/INVITE from 127.0.0.1:5080

All different extension numbers, sometimes port 5483 or 5063

I should say this is self hosted on Azure. Usage stats on the VM look OK.
