Android 3cx Video Conference app - I/O Error

I'm about to host a video conference and everybody hoping to join via an Android client is getting the error "I/O error" from the Android 3cx video conference app. There is no helpful explanation of the error. Clients are a mixture of OnePlus and Samsung phones.

The meeting can be connected to through a desktop browser, it just seems to be the Android app that has the problem.

Is there somewhere I should be looking to diagnose this?

Can you check your SSL certificate to make sure that you're not missing the chain certificate? Go ahead and enter in your FQDN along with the port you used, eg: myfqdn.3cx.com:5001 into this checker: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html
