Android and IOS clients session timeout

Good day Team,

I faced with session timeout issue When users don't open the app often. can i somehow sent a wake signal to sleeping session ?

Or I need to ask users turn on "Keep Activity" option ?

By the way , i could not found this option on iOS devices

They will need to just open their app on a more regular basis, or send them a call every few days.

I wouldnt recommend the keep alive option as this would drain their battery on the phone.
