Hello,

We have several (~30) departments.
Each department has 2 leaders and ~50 employees 'in-the-field'.
Each department has 2 queues, each with a specific DDI: one is reserved as a public line for that department and the other is reserved for the department employees who are 'in the field'.

During office hours, the department leaders log in to both queues, but outside office hours they need only to be logged in to the 'employee'-queue, so that they can handle calls of their employees who are f.e. working in the evening or at night.
The 'field-employees' doesn't have access to 3cx and use only the reserved DDI to contact their department lead.

There are 2 things which are missing in the android app what makes the app not handy or functional for the department leaders.

1:
The department lead needs to use the PWA-app on their computers to log in or out of the specific queues.
It would be very handy if they can do that in the android app, because they feel it's cumbersome to start their laptops and PWA to log in/out of specific queues.

2:
When there is a missed call to a queue, there is no notification in the android app.
This is a shortcoming where the department leaders are very dissatisfied with.

Will these features come to the android app?

We are using V20update2 and the latest android app.

A possible workaround for your first point is that the PWA on Android/iOS can be added using Chrome or Safari to access the switchboard panel and queues. Alternatively, you can also access the web client directly through a mobile browser.

We also were thinking to use the PWA-app on the phones instead of the android app.

It indeed solves the missing features of the android app, but using the PWA on the phone has it's on caveats.

1)
Any incoming/outgoing call with the PWA on the phone, will sound the other side out loud through the phone's speakers.
So using the PWA for calls is impossible.

2)
If the user picks up an incoming call with the android app, and ends communication, the phone will start playing the ringtone continuously until the PWA-app is closed on the phone.

3)
Only using the PWA app (without android app installed) on the phone demands that the site is opened on the phone.
Otherwise you only got a message of an incoming call without ringtone, then you have to start the PWA app.
