Solved Android client not able to receive inbound calls

Multiple users in my organization have reported issues receiving inbound calls when they upgraded to 16.7.6. I know that many people are having this issue. From my research there is no solution as of yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. What happens when you call them?
2. Are the extensions receiving calls normally (without the App)?
3. Do they receive a notification / missed call or nothing at all when receiving a call?
4. Does this happen to every 16.7.6 version of the Android App or only specific extensions?

1. Their desk phone rings and their desktop app rings, but their android phone only receives a notification that someone called or left a voicemail.
2. Yes
3. Not on the android phone.
4. Yes, all of the phones affected are using a 16.7.6. All extensions that are using an android phone have this issue.

Have you tried this over WiFi and LTE? On a different network?

Can you turn off the Telecom API in the Android settings and test again? This can be found under Settings >> Advanced >> Car/Bluetooth support (Telecom API)

Yes I tried testing on wifi and turning off Telecom API. Same issue. Please let me know what other information you would need. I appreciate the help.

Depending on the issue, it might be good to also mention any other specifics that may be related. Some examples could be:

• Issue happens only with BT headphones connected
• Happens when battery is low and Power Saver is enabled
• DND mode is enabled

I reverted to default firebase settings and this fixed the issue. Thank you.
