Hi, by the title you would think I'm looking for an android desk phone that's been reprogrammed by a manufacturer to work as a voip phone. Actually what I am looking for is a way to make an android tablet/phone or an Ipad/iphone run the application and have a corded or bluetooth recharging cradle handset attached to it. This way I could run the app as a desk phone on an ipad or android tablet and avoid having to utilize an SBC but I am using an SBC. If anyone has a link to something they have used or come across I would greatly appreciate it.
Problem that I am trying to solve: End users that are working from home or abroad would like a desk phone (not their cell phone but is a wifi connected android/iphone) that wirelessly connects to their wifi router/AP/Mesh/ and it runs 3cx without locking up connected to a wired/wireless handset.
Products I've tried: Fanvil X6u with wifi adapter which does not work. Fanvil V65 with built in wifi. Neither work or they lock up eventually. Yes I know they are not supported connecting to wifi as an SBC phone.
Item I have considered is a yealink wh66 or a wh67 but those are headsets. Looks like I am about 10 years too late for this idea possibly.
