I have looked through a lot of the posts on this forum and my question has been asked before but none of the answers seem to be conclusive.

We have only been using 3CX Free for a couple of months in a small office of 6 users. We have a Telxi SIP Trunk with 4 SC and 4 x DiD numbers, One of those numbers we have set in both the 3CX and the Telxi system as our main number and set it up so that all phones ring when we get a call on that number. "Main Number" appears on the screens of our Yealink T54W deskphones (one acting as a router phone/SBC) also when someone calls on that number. Three users each have a DiD number and they all work just fine. Whenever when any outgoing call is made from any extension, the Caller ID the recipient of the call sees is our main number. To reduce the number of calls that come into our main number, which disturbs everyone, we encourage people to use the DiD. This would happen more if outgoing calls made by the people with the DiD numbers had the DiD number as their caller ID. I have tried entering the DiD number in the Outbound Caller ID box in the admin section for the relevant users but it doesn't change the outgoing Caller ID for the three users with the DiD numbers. Is there a way of doing this? If someone has an answer that would be very useful and I am sure it would result in a lot more incoming calls going straight to the person the caller wants to speak to.
P.S. (!) If someone has more than one DiD allocated to them, is it possible to set up the system so the user can see what number the incoming call was made to?

Not so many providers support the DID that is embedded in the outbound call hence you may have to create Outbound Rules to add on that you can also take advantage of the stick agent. To super charge this you can also
1. Leverage the 3CX Call Flow Designer (CFD).
2. Store caller numbers and their assigned “sticky” agent extensions in a MySQL (or any) database—this could even be your CRM’s database if preferred.
3. When a call arrives, grab the caller ID from `session.ani`.
4. Query the database (or via a REST API) to look up the agent extension tied to that caller ID.
5. In the CFD, forward the call to the retrieved agent extension.

The latest release has the report to show which did was call {youraswesome3cxurlhereyeshere}/#/office/reports/inbound-calls
