Hi,

We were able to follow the O365/Teams integration with 3CX. It has been working great for us. However, when I was adding some additional test users for the platform, I couldn't find them in the "Select Microsoft 365 Users..." window pane. This is in spite that the said user account has the appropriate Microsoft 365 licenses... any thoughts?

The actual users are not required to be licensed for when adding them to the user sync section of the 365 integration, these are simply Azure users

They do need to be licensed to integrate from there on but not actually to add them to user sync.

To add to what @Charles_3CX said, also make sure that the new Azure Users you created have at least a First and/or Last Name, as well as a Display Name.

Yes. Thank you for that reminder. In our case, our accounts are populated from Active Directory so those fields should be populated by default

  • If a user which is created in Microsoft 365 does not appear in 3CX: Ensure Microsoft 365 users have the “UserType” attribute set as “Member” in the Azure Directory. Some older accounts of Microsoft 365 miss this attribute for some users.
This migh tbe your issue if, it is its a bit of a pain but doable
