I've setup a video conference as follows:

Type: Video
When: Later
Subject. Blabla
Notes: Blabla
Webmeeting Profile: Webinar
Calendar: 3CX (direct eMail)
Meeting Options:
[ ] Organizer must connect first
[ ] Everyone is an Organizer
[ ] Allow Participant Control
[ ] Hide participants from each other
[ ] Audio
[ ] Video
[x] Chat
MCU Server: Cloud
Quality: Balanced

Participants were added by importing a CSV file.
Four of the participants were supposed to present something, be able to enable/disable their webcams and microphones.
I've entered the meeting with the original organizer link using a pseudo account. I've ticked the organizer boxes next to each participant who was so supposed to present.
However, the setting for these members was not saved and when they entered the conference I had to switch them to organizer level manually.
Afterwards, I send out another invitation from inside the conference and ticked the organizer box. Again the user was just a mere passive participant after entering.
While this isn't a show stopper, it's a bit annoying and this way, the presenters cannot upload anything presentation material before the meeting starts.

v18 video conferencing (ex named web meeting) will allow more flexible control options to create a meeting, however, it will remain that only the host (organizer) will join the meeting as host and all others as participants with the options set.

During the meeting, the host then can change the privileges of a user to presenter or co-host and lifts imposed restrictions by doing so. Those are not saved when the user leaves the meeting and rejoins. It is not planned to change this. T

Ok, thanks for confirming that it worked basically as intended and wasn't a mistake/bug.

VasilisV just told me one trick that seems to work: Invite the regulars participants while creating the conference and then invite the organizers from inside the conference and tick the box for organizer privileges. I've tried this and this way, it seems to work as I had planned it.
