Hi,

Each extension has it's own click2meet url.
How does one notice, that someone clicked the url?

There is a checkbox called ''Notify me by chat of new meeting request" but i do not get any chat message.

Can someone confirm, that this is how it should behave? Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Stefan

If your system is correctly configured, when someone clicks the URL and joins the meeting room, you'll receive a chat on your extension with a personalized link for you to join this user in a private room.

Leonidas, thank you for your answer. Can you please elaborate, what "correctly configured" exactly means?

What might be missing, that could lead to such behavior, that incoming chat-message is absent?

Port 5001 or 443 from your PBX to *.3cx.net domains need to be open and allow bidirectional communication. Also geo-blocking to this domain should be disabled.

Indeed. Port must be open from OUTSIDE to PBX for notification (incoming port forwarding). Thats bad in terms of security but at least it would be good to have it documented somewhere.

@LeonidasG - what do you think?

This is a limitation currently and we're working on a future version that will remove this inbound traffic requirement.
