Solved Current list of video MCU servers in V18?

Hello,
since we operate a VPN to China we need to adjust to changes in the 3cx MCU infrastructure (which is constantly evolving).
Until the self-hosted MCU is available - could someone please post a current list of servers for V18?
I found that the ones visible in status.3cx.net don't seem to be complete, with V18 we now get eu171-ams.3cx.net and eu172-ams.3cx.net - these aren't even on the map.
Also this post from 2020 by @LeonidasG does not mention them (I expanded all 80 IP addresses mentioned, Ours are not among them.)

It would be helpful to have some current link. Or can I get the list myself from the webmeeting-director server somehow?

Check here:

Check the TXT DNS Records for each of the FQDNs listed there, and you will find the IPs.
This is an ever changing list of IPs so if it is for routing purposes, I'd check it regularly.

Thanks a lot for the quick answer. So a "dig txt [region].3cx.net" is what I needed.

I have one more question - am I right to assume that the selection of an MCU in V18 is based on the geography of the 3cx instance hosting the meeting?
More specific - if we have a 3cx in Germany with users in Asia (assume here without a VPN) and they initiate a meeting, the MCU will be in Europe and not in Asia?
(Alternatives I can think of: The MCU is based on the region of the originating client, or there might be multiple MCUs operating the same meeting which would be far more complex, so I guess that's not the case.)

Good question, if you select in 3CX the Meeting-Zone EU, then you cannot break out of this region.
You might be assigned to a server in Germany or France for example but nothing outside of the EU, regardless of where the user joins from. EU is in this case defined by the EEA excluding the UK.

The selection of the MCU inside the Zone is done based on primitive geo location which would be the best MCU at the time plus various other factors to make this determination.

Great, so if the Asian users access the system via VPN and the 3cx is set to "Europe", I should be fine by just routing the european MCUs through the VPN.
