Is there a tenant support date for these phones? Snom said it was in 3CX hands. These phones replace the D865 which have issues in America, and we'd like to start using them for router phones

We also have a lot of customer enquiries about the phones and when they can be used with the 3CX.

Official support for these phones is expected by the end of this month with the general release of Update 5.

Update 5 Beta 2 has been released since my last post here. Guess there were a few more bugs to work out before it's ready for GA. For now I'm using a custom template for the D812. Hopefully soon.

Update 5 Final has been released and it seems to be missing support for D812. Not very happy about that as it means our 3CX deployment will be delayed again. I cannot see purchasing the older D7xx when they'll inevitably be EOL before long.

Its up to the manufacturer to submit templates and firmware tests before we release. They are not ready yet.

Thank you for the clarification.

Can you please confirm whether or not Snom has submitted the required templates and test results? I'd just like to understand what is holding things up. My own attempt at a custom template has been only somewhat successful.

I hate to be a squeaky wheel type, but if someone with direct knowledge could reply to my above question I'd sincerely appreciate it. This project is being delayed and I need to know where the holdup lies. If the D812 isn't going to be supported very shortly I'll have to go with a different phone model/manufacturer. Thanks in advance.

You have to ask snom about it..... The D812 firmware submitted in its current form simply didn't pass our QA

Thank you for that information. I’ve raised this with Snom also. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted soon! I’m looking at possibly going to the D862 instead.

Posting an update for anyone happening across this thread. I ended up using the D862 across our enterprise as we couldn't wait any longer at the time. The D812 and D815 are officially supported now, and I have one of them sitting in its box as a spare.
