Is there a way to disable WhatsApp during Holiday, so the Sender gets only one checkmark or two checkmarks (grey) but not two checkmarks (blue)? I've tried to route the Whats-App-"Trunk" to "End Call", but without success. Messages came in, even after restart of PBX. A few days later we were messed-up... Customers asked us why we don't answer on WhatsApp, while we got some WhatsApp messages but not from that customers asking us. Obviously the route-setting "End Call" came effective sometime later. We hurried up to change back the routing to the Queue which were set before, but we got crazy as we still didn't got messages from that certain customers, but still from others.

I strongly hope, 3CX sees the endless possibilities (and market) with CFD as an ChatFlowDesigner. You could answer incoming chats automatically, based on database values and much more.

But for now, we just need to disable the API only and don't know how to proceed.

Hi, we only have five days remaining until we are on holiday :(. Does somebody has an idea how to disable WhatsApp (see above)?

I wonder, if there is a 3CX service which can be stopped to only stop WhatsApp-Communication...

3CX is merely an 'EndPoint' for this application.
You should look into the service directly.
3CX can only speculate on Meta's behavior.

If I were you, I would start my search by accessing business.facebook.com
3CX works on Rest API integrations such as WebClient and CallControl.
Perhaps one of these APIs could interact with messaging services.
If so, you can easily configure any scripts you choose without the need for CallFlow.

Regardless, for the upcoming holidays, we'll have to hope that Meta offers a direct feature.

Thank you so much for your answer, but for my understanding you can use one 'EndPoint' only. Of course, there are some other providers I can connect my WhatsApp API with, which offers auto-responders, but I cannot imagine, that there is a way to connect to Endpoints (3CX plus another) at the same time.

There is no need for auto-reply right now. I just want to stop communication between 3CX and WhatsApp during holiday. If not stopped incoming messages could be retrieved accidentally and the customers sees the two blue checkmarks and then we got troubles. As long as the checkmarks are grey, everything is fine.

Regards,
Lucas
