Fanvil X210 BLF defaults color after upgrade to V20 U2

We have recently upgraded from V18 to V20 U2 (local server). After the upgrade we noticed that "page1" and "page 2" of the Fanvil X210 phones had reverted the BLF color to default green. Page 3 was not affected. We changed the BLF colors back to our scheme on pages 1 and 2 using the web console of the X210 phones. After a short while the BLF colors reverted back to green. This occurred without provisioning of the phones or having the phones rebooted. Has any else noted this behavior?

We have noticed that the X210-V2 phones do not show this issue.

Any changes made to the phone in its own interface will be overwritten by the configuration from the PBX.

the BLF keys in 3CX only show the call state of an extension, not the profile state.

Thank you for your response. That makes sense. However, changing the background color of the BLF label was unaffected in V18. In V20-U2 we see it affecting the X210 on pages 1 and 2 of the "sidecar" BLF fields but not page three. The X210-V2 phones are not affected. There is no place I know of to admin the BLF background color in either V18 or V20. In looking through the Fanvil template I did not see where the system would affect that change but I am not an expert, and it is 12,000 lines of settings!

I performed some local testing where I deployed the X210 to 3CX via Local LAN/VPN, modified the BLF colors, and observed for a while. During this time, I also tried restarting the device and unplugging and replugging the network cable. However, I was unable to reproduce the issue.

Could you provide more detailed reproduction steps so that I can attempt to replicate the problem?

Sure! I logged into the phone webadmin and changed the icon color on the DSS keys (using HTTPS on Firefox as well as Chrome):

If you wait long enough it =will revert to the default green icon. To force it I highlight the extension and select Reprovision from the Phones menu in the 3CX Admin Console.

Note this happens on pages one and two of the X210 but not on page three. The X210 V2 models do not exhibit this issue. Thanks!

Oh，my X210 version is 2.4.13 ， wiil downgrade to 2.4.12 and test.

I see that on Fanvil's site. Does 3CX support .13? That would be a great fix

I downgraded to version .12 and observed for a while, but unfortunately, the issue still did not reoccur. Could you set the syslog to debug, reproduce the issue, and then export and send me the syslog? I will try to check the cause of the problem.

I would be pleased to. In the meantime: I upgraded to V13 and could not reproduce the issue. i downgraded back down to V12 and could only reproduce the issue when I make any change to a BLF (can be any BLF on the phone) or select the phone and click "Reprovision". Else the icon color was persistent. I will work on the debug. Thanks!

(I was referencing .12 and .13 on the X210. To upgrade I used the webadmin on the phone itself, to downgrade I used the 3CX console)
