Fanvil X4U and X6U BLF Going to the incorrect Extension.

Good morning,

Is anyone else noticing an issue using BLF on Fanvil X4U and X6U phones? At random, when users press the BLF for the assigned extension, it calls another extension and not the one assigned to the BLF. Then, when you try again, it calls the correct extension that is assigned.

I have reset the phones and it's still happening.

When I first noticed this, it was happening on the X4U as a router phone. I reset it and stop using it as a router phone and it's still happening.

Any ideas?

How are the phone provisioned?
Also the BLF keys were assigned from the management console?

The phones are provisioned from the Phones Tab using "Assign Ext" and the BLF are assign from the management console.

I tried but cannot replicate this issue from my side. Are you able to replicate this on demand?

No, I am not able to replicate. It happens at random sometimes over days.

also happening randomly at my latest site. i would normally have assigned a speed dial button to the blf instead of blf itself but the client likes seeing who's on a call with the phone lights. they just wont embrace the windows client. first time this happened we all assumed that the person just hit the wrong button but its happened 3 more times since this week. nothing weird in the logs showing a forward or anything just seems to dial the wrong person from the blf button. its totally random so hard to replicate. phones are all fanvil x4u-v2 with most running as router phones. fw 2.12.16.20. 3cx up to date although there is one more update to 18.0.9.20 that I'll do tonight along with a new phone template for the fanvil x series installed version 143000 to new 145775. nothing is custom and all provisioned from the m.console.

Yes, it is random, and I am afraid to purchase more X4U-V2 until we understand the issue.

I want to say yes because no one has reported it. I hope it's because it stopped happening. I checked all the extensions that were being used as BLF and ensure that no special charters were in the names. So I would start there because I had a few dashes.
