How do I join or leave queues as I can't dial *62 or *63 as Teams sends it at 1*63 and 1*62.

If users set themselves to Away or DND on Teams does that log them out of queues or make them inaccessible? Not clear how to join or leave them as star codes don't work (I followed the 3CX and Teams setup guide to the letter). It just sends it as +1*63 and fails, and 3CX shows no mention of any call from Teams. I tried to change this but 3CX says it must start with * for some reason (I opened a ticket with Microsoft and their response was that * codes won't work before a number and that I'd have to change 3CX to use something else such as # first but no luck). Just not sure how to have my users log in or leave queues. We do not use the web portal or any 3CX apps at all, and my users actually have no idea we even use 3CX as everything is 100% inside of Teams and is how it needs to remain.

What dial codes are set for status changing in Settings > Dial Codes? Usually, it's *3 by default and that should be sent to 3CX correctly since the dialplan script for Teams adds translations for the system dial codes.

*62 is to join all queues and *63 is to leave all queues, I've never changed these from default. *3 shows that it's for "change profile status"

*3 also doesn't work, Teams shows it dialing out as +1*3 and then fails.

Teams dialing uses E164 number processing to dial out, so use 3cx apps to dial 3cx dial codes.
So use Teams and 3CX at the same time? 2 soft phones? And that's a logical solution to you? Jeeze what ever would I have done without you! Fantastic idea, can't wait for someone to call in and have both devices ring at the same time. LOL. My goodness some people.

So why are the dialcodes included in the Teams dialplan and also promoted in the blog post about the integration?

My apologies, but hadn't actually finished my sentence I didn't realize I sent the message as switched tabs, was actually coming back to this to finish and saw that I sent it.

Teams dialing uses E164 number processing to dial out externally so if your dial code configuration is set up incorrectly it may interfere with the internal dial codes, if you use 3cx apps to dial 3cx dial codes does it work? if so check the dial codes configuration under the team's admin > Voice > Dial Plans, these are populated by the 4th and 5th lines in the teams_dial_plan/ps1 script. for the queue log in and log out should look something link this

DialCode Queue InDialCode Queue LogIn^(\*62)$ $1
DialCode Queue OutDialCode Queue LogOut^(\*63)$ $1

In addition, did you have any other configuration within teams before running the scripts for the 3cx integration?
