How to Upgrade the 3CX Standard Version

Hi Guys, currently running:




I'm trying upgrade to the latest version of standard but i am unable to. Any advice on this?

I assume you mean the 3CX version and not the license. What build of v18 are you running? Older builds can't activate and now only the update 9B is able to.

We currently are using the 18.0.7.312 version. I am unable to upgrade the system to V20, even using the steps provided in the link.

The error is maintenance is unavailable.

You version is way to old to upgrade. Now its more complicated to go forward. You first need to install an v18 U9b restore your backup and adjust everything to upgrade to v20. Why did you sleep so long?

I understand that we did take too long to upgrade and I'm currently trying to get us back to spec. Might you have any documentation I could follow to install V18 U9B?

If you already configured an system owner account, you can go straight to v20. I am not sure its still possible to install v18 from scratch.

You can take a backup of your instance, install it in Version 18 update 9. This will probably fail to activate, but then you can take that backup and restore to version 20.

I would not recommend going straight from update 7 to version 20 directly.
