Hello all,

After following the 3CX Hubspot Integration instructions (https://www.3cx.com/docs/hubspot-pbx-crm-integration/) at step 4 to authorize the connection, I receive the following error: "Couldn’t complete the connection. The redirect_uri does not match the client registered redirect_uri. Please contact the integrator."

I am using my "normal" Hubspot login and not the "developer" login. I have triple-check my redirect URL and it is "mydomain.3cx.us:5001/api/oauth2crm."

Not sure what is going on. Any ideas to help?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello Ben,

Please ensure that you're accessing the 3CX console using the same URL "mydomain.3cx.us:5001". If you're accessing to the console with HTTP instead of HTTPS, or if you're accessing to the console using the IP address instead of the FQDN, then you will get this error. The URL that you use in the 3CX console must match exactly the first part of the Redirect URL you configure in Hubspot.

Please check that.

Regards.

Hello Ernesto,

Thank you for your reply. I am accessing the 3CX console by "https://mydomain.3cx.us:5001." It is HTTPS. I am also able to use IP address as long as I am on my network. I copied and pasted the Redirect URL from the console session to be sure I didn't type incorrectly.

Thanks for sending the screenshots. It looks like you're accessing the 3CX console using the IP address, and not the FQDN. Then, when you do the authorization, 3CX will include the IP address in the Redirect URL, which will not match what you have specified in the Hubspot app. That's why you get the error.

Ernesto,

I sent multiple images that show that I am able to access the console both by FQDN and IP address. I setup Hubspot to use the same FQDN (no IP address) that I use to successfuly access 3CX.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I understand that you can access with both IP address and FQDN. But when you press the Authorize button, you MUST be accessing the 3CX console with FQDN, because you configured the URL with FQDN in Hubspot. If you want to do this with IP address, then configure the Redirect URL in Hubspot with IP address. It's important the both are the same when you're pressing the Authorize button.

Ernesto,

That makes sense. After clicking the authorize button while logged into the 3CX console under the FQDN rather than under IP address, it did authorize successfully.

Thank you for your assistance.
