Hi,

How can we cleanly remove the M365 integration? We were testing it out with the plan to sync all our users into 3CX from M365 to allow them to SSO in (and make it easier for IT to not have to manually provision). However, with the recent move to impose the max extension limit, we have decided to re-think this decision. Given that we will only be providing an extension moving forwards to a very small subset of our users (we are a large public school but only a handful of staff really need an extension as most would be teachers so we've decided to remove their extensions instead of paying for a higher plan).

Why not keep the integration but only sync the 365 users who will be having an extension on 3CX?

Users > M365 (button at top of screen) > select the 'Sync only selected users' radio button.
Then 'Select Users' and check only the ones you want to keep.

I guess we could try that. Do you know of a way to renew an expired certificate? How do we generate a new one that we could upload to M365?

Just to be clear: Are you just using M365/3CX syncing or are you also using the Teams integration?

3CX has the possibility to sync only users that are member of a specific group in the AD. Make a new group "telephony" in your M365 and place users that will get an account in 3CX in this group. In the user part of 3CX in the M365 settings set sync to only this group..

Now you can manage the users in M365.

We are not using Teams integration
